Chalkboard Desk
I took an old school house desk (found on craigslist) and sanded it down to the original wood. (I’m sure my neighbors hate me after that week.) And then painted the drawers, top and sides with chalkboard paint.
This was my first time refinishing anything but I don’t think it will be my last.
(ps. that day at the pool was more than a great day, it was amazing and we had a waterproof disposable camera to prove it!)
I originally thought I would leave the frame in it’s natural wood but now that I see it finished I’m thinking I should paint it. Maybe a dark cherry brown?
